Camp Marshall General Barn Rules  

Welcome to Camp Marshall’s Equestrian Center!  

You, as a Rider, Boarder, Employee, Student, or just here for a visit, are asked to  please follow our general rules.  

Remember these rules are in place to provide the safest environment possible for you,  your horse; or any feet or hooves that are on Camp Marshall’s property.  If rules are not followed any of Camp Marshall's administration have the right to ask you  to leave the property.  

Barn Rules

  • Barn Hours 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (if Boarding; see boarding guidelines) 

  • Park in designated areas (the stall grounds are for staff and boarders only)  

  • There is No smoking or vaping on any of Camp Marshall's grounds  including stalls, parking, paddocks, show grounds, rings etc.  

  • Dogs & other pets are allowed but must be leashed & under control at all  times. Maximum leash length is 6 feet. If your pet is not horse, people, or  dog friendly, you will be kindly asked to remove the pet from the property.  

    • Please Clean up after your pet or Equine friend  

  • All horses on property must have appropriate paperwork done prior to arriving.  

  • All persons on Camp Marshall property must sign and fill out appropriate forms and waivers  

  • Please keep all areas clean and free of debris and manure.  

  • Please, NO food in trash barrels in the barn areas to deter unwelcome  critters.  

  • NO glass bottles in the equine areas.  

  • If you turn on a light, turn it off. If it breaks, inform a staff member. If you’re  not sure, ask.  

  • Helmets are required at all times when riding including on the trails. 

  • The Camp Marshall speed Limit is 5MPH throughout all barn, paddock  and barn related areas (i.e. rings, indoor etc.)  

  • Please do not touch, or feed other people's horses without permission,  unless in the event of an emergency. 

  • If there is an emergency of any kind contact a member of Camp  Marshall staff.  

  • Please clean up after your horse.  

  • DO NOT enter any CAMP MARSHALL ONLY designated areas without permission of management or use any of Camp Marshall's tack  or equipment without permission. 

  • There are no alcoholic beverages of any kind allowed on Camp  Marshall property. At no time is coming on to property under the  influence of alcohol or any substance allowed. You will be asked to  immediately leave. 

  • At no time are fires of any kind allowed on Camp Marshall property. 

  • Please be respectful of all training and lessons and follow Barn  Etiquette.  

  • Closed toed shoes required at all times  

  • Please remember horses are large animals that at times can be unpredictable and that not all horses on property are owned or leased by Camp Marshall. If there are any actions that may interfere with the safety of any horses on Camp Marshall’s property, interfere with other events or activities etc., you will be asked to leave immediately.
